"The Bergen" is an extremely diverse trail full of idyllic corners. In the first segment, it leads through various forest formations. In the second segment, the aspect is dominated by meadows with fruit trees and lovely vistas. Especially beautiful are the long passages where the way leads along brooks or ponds. The way is also accessible via Losheim Lake.

The trail was assessed with 71 adventure points by the German Hiking Institute.
