Countess Loretta is a Dream Loop offering places steeped in history on either side of the Nahe, deep, quiet brook valleys, enchanted clearings, and repeated grandiose vistas into valleys and into the distance. The trail leads mostly through varied forest formations over the heights but also with brief open areas, where numerous opportunities for rest stops, also with grilling facilities, invite hikers to stay a while.

The trail was assessed with 66 adventure points by the German Hiking Institute.
