A spectacular panorama of a beautiful hill landscape opens up across deep green meadows, large fields, and open pastures. The rustic Hochwald villages of Weierweiler, Rappweiler, and Mitlosheim in between are just as attractive. Magnificent vistas, brief rugged bush and forest passages and refreshing brooks provide variety. Hiding in the almost enchanted marshy landscape, rare flora and fauna offer a nature experience of a special kind.

The trail was assessed with 63 adventure points by the German Hiking Institute.
