The Kastel Rock Trail offers a unique diversity of adventure around the former Celtic hill fortifications and the historical state monument "Klause" as the burial chapel of Blind King John of Bohemia. Among the historical treasures are the unusual charms of the landscape, a splendid panorama with far-reaching, fascinating vista into the Saar Valley, the pastoral Pinschbach Valley, with the softly gurgling brook and the monumental climbable Altfels as a further highlight.
The trail is being certified as a Dream Loop. The trail was assessed with 74 adventure points by the German Hiking Institute.
