Spring sanctuaries, places of pilgrimage, witches, spirits, and demons - the Lückner is full of mysterious places and stories. Some have almost been forgotten; many, such as the Rammenfels or St. Odilia's Chapel, are still clearly visible. In addition, the trail boasts of diverse and unusual forest images as well as the absolute high point of the eerie boggy primeval forest around the Geisweiler Pond.

The trail was assessed with 54 adventure points by the German Hiking Institute.
