Extensive pastures with fruit trees, magnificent panorama vistas, the wonderfully situated St. Donatus' Chapel, infinite stillness, and, as the high point, an unforgettable nature experience in the picturesquely romantic Oppig gap, 6.5 mi/10.5 km long, await hikers on this very special trail.

The Oppig Gap Trail was assessed with 72 adventure points by the German Hiking Institute.
