The Ravine Trail in the nature park village of Losheim-Rissenthal offers an experience fireworks for demanding hikers. Good physical fitness and sure-footedness are a requirement. The trail leads through two beautiful ravines, eight smaller and larger gaps/ravines (called Gräten), several remarkable rock formations, brooks, pastures with age-old fruit trees, enchanting forests covered with liana vines, and past numerous vistas.

The Ravine Trail was Hiking Trail of the Year 2006 in Germany. It was assessed with 73 adventure points by the German Hiking Institute.
