The richly varied "Traun Valley Heights Trail" follows the convoluted course of the small, romantic Traun stream, meanders through mysterious, solitary forests, and offers far-reaching vistas across meadows and fields rich in diverse flora. Narrow paths along impressive rock formations characteristic of the Hunsrück complete the hiking adventure.
The trail was assessed with 52 adventure points by the German Hiking Institute.
