The romantic Hahnenbach Valley in the Three Corners Bundenbach - Woppenroth - Schneppenbach offers the backdrop for this greatly varied quality hiking trail so close to nature. The trail runs on either side of the Hahnen Brook through the spectacular landscape of the Hunsrück. Hikers can experience the stomping grounds of the famous criminal Schinderhannes through a natural landscape with ruins, a fossil museum, and a slate show mine.
The trail was assessed with 81 adventure points by the German Hiking Institute.

Start and finish of the hike can be reached from several locations.
Visitor parking for the Herrenberg Show Mine is located directly on the trail and on the Soonwald Climb.
Additional starting points are the leisure facility at the Wacholderheide near
Woppenroth and hiker parking in Schneppenbach.
