From Scheiden, the trail descends into the wild, romantic Lannenbach Valley with its stone formations. Hikers reach the Hölzbach Valley with the Teufelsfelsen [Devil's Rock] on the edge of the Waldhölzback via a historical border path that runs across a ridge. The trail then crosses the Engelsfelsen [Angel's Rock] and ascends and leads to the game preserve near Weiskirchen. Red deer and European bison are kept in the large enclosures with old tree growth. The next descent leads into the wild Holzbach Valley, where the Climb, always following the brook, finally reaches Weiskirchen.
