We are starting to rent out our idyllic forest house as a holiday home from summer 2021 after an extension phase. The garden and forest offer plenty of space to spend time close to nature. There is the possibility to barbecue, take walks in the forest, hiking tours, rest, read, go on excursions to nearby Trier or sit outside in the evening under the starry sky or under a roof. Ideal for taking a break from everyday urban life without the
influence of the media.
The house has two floors and a covered outdoor seating place. The basement is one big living room with a panorama window facing the forest, a closed fireplace and an open kitchen, which is fitted with all utensils you need for cooking. The contemporary photographs take a narrative part in the minimal aestethic of the interior dekoration of the house.
You reach the top floor over a spiral staircase. The top floor includes the sleeping room, a small hallway and he bath with a sink, toilett and a shower. The sleeping room is devided in two parts. The main part with a big comfortable double bed and a seperate carpentry by wood with a bunk bed.
The hot water for the shower and the tap water, as the central heating in the house, is heated up by a modern ecologically heating system run by natural power.
The household electricity optained by renewable energy, too. The sewage of the house get cleaned with a ecologically small sewage treatment plant.
The slate stone house is situated on a plateau with plenty of midday and evening sun and is surrounded by a wooded hillside that has been growing on the abandoned vineyards for over 70 years. Below the property runs the Ruwer-Hochwald cycle path on the old railway line between Hermeskeil and Trier and the hiking route of the Saar-Hunsr
