The Saar-Hunsrück Climb has its borders at the Moselle in Perl, at the Roman city Trier, and at heart of gemstone country, Idar-Oberstein.
The Saar-Hunsrück Climb, opened in May 2007, has been certified by the German Hiking Institute as a Premium Hiking Trail. With 64 adventure points, it achieved the TOP position among the long-distance trails in Germany. Its unique feature: More than 70 % natural trails.
