The Saar-Hunsrück Climb borders on the Saar Bend near the ceramics center Mettlach, on the Roman city Trier, and on the gem center Idar-Oberstein.
The Saar-Hunsrück Climb, opened in May 2007, has been certified by the German Hiking Institute as a Premium Hiking Trail. With 58 adventure points, it achieved the TOP position among the long-distance trails in Germany. Its unique feature: More than 70 % natural trails.
